High quality vanilla cultivated by blessings of nature
Vanilla of Co•En Corporation comes from two producers in Madagascar.
One is a cooperative who cultivates vanilla in forest-like plantation with agroforestry farming. The other has plantations surrounded by rich nature where chameleons walk, and build a secondary school by using the part of their profit from vanilla business.
Both of them utilise the blessing of nature and never use chemicals for vanilla cultivation, trying to develop farming co-existing with forest. They also have strong will to contribute to sustainable development of their area, and have fair-trade certification.
We hope, via this page, you feel connection with the producers and enjoy stories which tell you where, how, by whom and with what kind of thought our vanilla has been produced.
Products
Vanilla is not the only products cultivated in the agroforestry. Clove, litchi, rambutan, pepper, cinamon, pink pepper, coffee, banana, pineapple… many kinds of crops are grown and harvested though out the year. We try heard to introduce not only vanilla but also other products.
